Generally we only collect information regarding you and / or your clients that you have provided to us in enabling us to provide professional services to you, your firm and / or your clients. The types of information collected includes, but is not limited to, :-
- Your name, the firm you represent and your contact details.
- Your client(s), and their details which may include their name, ABN, TFN, date of birth etc. (Please note that where you are a registered tax agent or an employee or agent on a registered tax agent, you must receive approval from your client prior to providing this information to us as per the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and related Code of Conduct).
- Other information required to provide our services competently
We may also occasionally collect information about you from published sources including websites, directories and business cards provided to us or obtained by us.
Visitors to our website do not have to submit any personal information in order to use it, however if the visitor specifically and voluntarily completes the “contact us” tab this information will be included on our contact database unless requested otherwise.
Use of information
We use this information to provide agreed services to clients and to operate our business. We will also utilise some of the information collected by us to facilitate the distribution of our marketing material, i.e. newsletters etc. but only where the consent to use this information for this purpose has not been withdrawn.

Holding personal information
Personal and sensitive information is held in hard and/or electronic formats and we have reasonable operational security to protect this information from misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However please note we are not liable for any unauthorised access to this information. This information is generally only retained to enable us to contact you or for record keeping purposes to support services previously provided to you or your clients.
We do not store any information outside of Australia, nor do we utilise cloud based software.
Disclosure of information
Personal and sensitive information will not be disclosed to other parties without your prior approval unless required by law or to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or requests.
Our site does have links to other websites not owned or controlled by us and we are not responsible for those sites nor any consequences of you accessing those sites.
